Our History
The Alice Nuah Charity Organization (ANCO) was established in 2021 by Sis. Alice Dekontee Nuah while she was visiting Liberia. During her trip, she toured various communities, interacted with residents facing diverse challenges, and observed the difficult conditions many individuals were enduring. Inspired by her experiences, she was determined to impact the lives of underprivileged people in Liberia positively. This led to the birth of ANCO, a nonprofit charity organization dedicated to reaching out to those in need. ANCO is fully registered with both the governments of the United States and Liberia, ensuring its commitment to support and uplift vulnerable communities through various initiatives. With a focus on compassion and service, ANCO aims to bring hope and assistance to those who need it most.
Anco is a dedicated non-profit charity organization registered with the governments of the United States and Liberia, committed to making a meaningful impact in the community. Over the years, ANCO has provided essential support by distributing school materials to children, ensuring that they have the tools needed for education. In addition to education, the organization focuses on nourishment, and feeding kids in the community with rice. Anco also addresses the clothing needs of families by distributing clothes and footwear to both children and mothers, while providing essential supplies to women of all ages. The organization further extends its compassion by donating wheelchairs to those in need and offering assistance to the blind and disabled communities. Through these initiatives, Anco embodies the spirit of charity and support, striving to uplift lives and create a better future for many.
